See, these settings are fine, but I’m working with a 32″ LED Samsung that I just bought. I used these setting and started playing Darksiders 2 and it could be the game, but it just doesn’t look right as if it severely reduced the graphics.

I have the 2010 46″ LED model, and when I set game mode on, it takes away the 120h MotionPlus, and the smoothness looks absolutely horrid. It’s very jittery. I turn Game Mode off and turn MotionPlus on with Judder Reduction: 10, Blur Reduction: 10.

I do, however, set the « input name » to « Game » and that helps, I think. But going into « general » under « settings » and turning the game mode feature on… all that does is turn MotionPlus and a bunch of things off, resulting in choppy frame rate.

I have Samsung LED ES5505 40″ and pretty much similar settings work well. Although I think backlight should not be that high (bad for tv in the long run) and contrast can be lower too. Still this gave me a place to start fine tuning my picture settings. I have used same kind of setting for tv-watching and dvd-player. Thanks!
